Draft
Draft is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. Eastern
Time on Saturday, August 30.
The Happy Valley Violence are already being
troublemakers. They want to move the draft up to an 11:00
a.m. start that day, and according to John Trzeciak, he
has the support of the West Coast owners. He needs 2/3
(10 teams) to OK this time change. Penn State's home opener
begins that day at 3:30 p.m.
Protection Deadline
Each team must submit a list of 5 (or 6) protected
players to Ying before midnight on Friday, August
22.
If you need a copy of the spreadsheet to see
who is on your team and who is eligible as a prospect, the
spreadsheet is here: Microsoft
Excel or Abobe PDF.
Teams that are in the lottery draft (see below)
may hold 6 players [5 plus a prospect]. All other teams may
hold 5 players [4 plus a prospect]. CHECK
THE RULES if you
have any questions about how many and what positions you
may cover.
2003 Draft Lottery Chances
